INDICATIONS:

It is used in anaesthesia as a muscle relaxant tofacilitate endotracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation and a wide range ofsurgical and obstetric procedures.

It is also used to reduce the intensity of musclecontractions associated with pharmacologically or electrically-inducedconvulsions.
