COMPOSITION:

Each 5 ml Contains:

• Quinine Sulfate BP100 mg
• Flavoured Syrup Base...q.s
• Colour: Sunset Yellow FCF

INDICATION:

DEVQ L is indicated in malaria caused by P. vivax, P. falciparum, P. malariae, & P. ovale. It is also indicated when complication like Cerebral Malaria, Acute Renal Failure, Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome severe anaemia etc. arise due to Falciparum malaria.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

• Adults: 600 mg given 8 hourly for 7 days
• Children: 10 mg/kg body weight given 8 hourly for 7 days

WARNING AND PRECAUTION:

• DEVQ L should be used with caution in patients with cardiac disorder.
• Exceeding the prescribed dose of quinine may give rise to cinchonism.
• Reduce the dosage (or increase intervals between doses) in renal or
• hepatic disease.

• 100 ml Bottle in printed carton with pack insert.
