Fluconazole Tablets USP 150mg

COMPOSITION:

Each uncoated tablet contains:
Fluconazole USP ....... 150 mg
Excipients ....................... q.s.

INDICATIONS:

Fluconazole Tablets are indicated for:
Systemic candidiasis
Mucosal candidiasis
Cryptococosis
Prevention of fungal infection in patients with malignancy.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:

Adult:

Systemic Candida Infections: Initially, 400 mg, followed by 200-400 mg once daily.
Mucosal Candidiasis: 50 mg daily, may increase to 100 mg daily if needed.
Cryptococcal Infections: Initially, 400 mg, followed by 200-400 mg once daily.
Prophylaxis of Fungal Infections in Immunocompromised Patients: 50-400 mg daily.

Paediatric Population:

Max: 400 mg daily

WARNING AND PRECAUTION:

It should be administered with caution to patients with renal dysfunction, liver dysfunction, patients with cardiac disorder. Drug reaction with eosinophilia has been reported.
